Calala Fondo de Mujeres – 15 years Anniversary

The challenge
Calala Fondo de Mujeres, a foundation that promotes women’s empowerment and rights in Spain and Latin America, commissioned us to design an event to celebrate their 15th anniversary. The challenge was to create a memorable experience that would not only highlight their achievements, but also connect emotionally with their community and reflect their activist and transformative spirit. To encapsulate the essence of Calala, we developed the claim “Unleash your joyful rebellion,” a call to celebrate activism and togetherness with joy, empowerment and an irreverent touch. This concept set the tone for every aspect of the event, from its design to the programmed activities, making the celebration a vibrant reflection of the foundation’s values and mission. The idea
The celebration was carefully designed to convey Calala’s transformative spirit and commitment to social change:

• Meaningful location: We chose an inclusive and welcoming space that reflected the diversity and energy of the Calala community.
• Inspiring programming: The event included panels with leaders in feminist activism, artistic performances, live music and spaces for community interaction, creating a dynamic and participatory environment.
• Visuals and branding aligned: Every visual detail, from the invitations and illustrations to the decoration, was inspired by the concept of “joyful rebellion”, with bright colors and empowering messages.
• Interactive activities: Creative workshops and dialogue spaces were offered where attendees could share their stories and reflect on the impact of the foundation.

With this celebration, Calala Fondo de Mujeres not only commemorated its history, but also reaffirmed its commitment to the empowerment of women and their struggle for sustained social change.
